Biblia Bessica (Biblia Beshoy)

Much to our surprise and joy, many different ancient manuscripts in the Boharic dialect, which contain almost in full both the New and the Old Testament, have survived until our days. This allows us to conduct a very thorough lingual analysis of this dialect; because apart from other documents (like philosophical or scientific treatises, for example) the language of the Bible’s books is quite unique in terms of representing in spectacular detail and high quality the living spoken language of the time period in which they were written or translated from. Many of these ancient manuscripts in the Boharic dialect, which contain almost all of the books of the New and the Old Testament in Boharic and Slavonic, are kept to this day in St. Catherine’s Monastery, built at the foot of Mount Sinai in Egypt where parts of the structures of this monastery date back to 330 years after the birth of Christ. The library of St. Catherine’s which contains over 3000 manuscripts is the second most important and largest one in terms of quantity of ancient sacred texts after the Vatican Library.
