The Archbishop of our Orthodox Church – a prominent Leader of the new Bulgarian Revival – has been attacked and beaten brutally.
“O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, but you were not willing! See! Your house is left to you desolate; and assuredly, I say to you, you shall not see Me until the time comes when you say, ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’” (Words of the Lord Jesus – The Gospel of St. Luke 13:34-35).
Won’t these words come true for another God-chosen and consecrated nation… Bulgaria? The following shows how some of its children (modern Bulgarians) treated the Cardinal of their Holy Orthodox Church only days and hours after this same Cardinal testified the God-chosen and consecrated character of the Bulgarian nation by delivering to its descendants the Testament of our holy fathers – the Bulgarian ‘Torah’ – the ancient texts of The Thracian Chronicles (published for the first time in our country).
November, 7, 2010: Cardinals Tsvetan Gaidarski and Stefan Gaidarski – archbishops of the Orthodox Thracian Church of Bulgaria – known as The Thracian Church in Bulgaria present our Book of the Covenant („The Thracian Chronicles” to the public in Kardzhali at the invitation of prominent museum workers and figures of science and art.
November, 15, 2010: Cardinal Tsvetan Gaidarski spends his birthday in the Pirogov Emergency Medical Center where he was taken after being beaten in a most cruel and brutal way and left on the street for dead a few meters from his home by unknown hired hitmen who spoke pure and clear Bulgarian language, only days after his mission in Kardzhali and a few hours after a similar meeting with the Council of Noble Citizens on 13 November in Sofia.
You, Bulgarian, who happen to read these lines, how do you define yourself? Are you chosen by God and consecrated, or are you a traitor, murderer and desecrator of the Bulgarian past and present? You, Bulgarian people, are you a nation of subjects who are loyal to the Covenant of its holy ancestors or are you people whose houses God will leave in the end “empty” and devoid of God’s presence and blessings? You, Bulgarian brothers and sisters, should know that whatever you sow is what you shall reap – as a reward or as judgment and retribution from God! So be careful how you listen and take heed in your hearts how you treat those who come in the Lord’s name with a holy mission from above to bless the Bulgarian nation pointing the way towards the bright future, not to the desolation fashioned by the counsel of its enemies.
God has revived Cardinal Tsvetan Gaidarski and has healed him for our good and for His Divine Glory. He has not harboured any feelings of bitterness or resentment against his attackers who are enemies of God and antichrists. He greets the faithful brethren of the Holy Orthodox Thracian Church and all the Bulgarian people with the following words:
“I now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up in my flesh what is lacking in the afflictions of Christ, for the sake of His body, which is the church, of which I became a minister according to the stewardship from God which was given to me for you, to fulfill the Word of God, the mystery which has been hidden from ages and from generations, but now has been revealed to His saints. To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. Him we preach, warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus. To this end I also labor, striving according to His working which works in me mightily.” (Pauls’ Epistle to the Colossians 1:24-29)
